SmartCentres Real Estate Investment Trust announced that Peter Forde, its President and CEO, has taken a temporary medical leave of absence. During Mr. Forde’s medical leave, Mitchell Goldhar, SmartCentres’ Executive Chairman, will assume Mr. Forde’s responsibilities with the assistance of the rest of SmartCentres’ executive team.
