SmarTone steps up support for customers undergoing mandatory quarantine

Arrange additional 100GB local data and unlimited local voice calls for

customers quarantining at Kwai Chung Estate

(Hong Kong, 29 January 2022) SmarTone continues to support customers undergoing mandatory quarantine. In response to the recent COVID-19 outbreak, SmarTone mobile monthly plan customers who are required to undergo quarantine at quarantine centres or targeted lockdown buildings (including Kwai Chung Estate), will only need to provide designated proof of quarantine for verification to receive an extra 100GB of free local data, unlimited local voice minutes*, a free 1-month JOOX VIP Music Service# and hmvod Standard Plan. This arrangement is part of SmarTone's endeavor to help customers quarantine without losing touch, so they can stay online and keep in touch with loved ones worry-free.

Quarantine centres / targeted lockdown buildings include:

  • Chin Kwai House, Hiu Kwai House, Nga Kwai House, Yuk Kwai House, Yat Kwai House and Ying Kwai House of Kwai Chung Estate
  • Penny's Bay Quarantine Centre
  • Silka Tsuen Wan
  • Cosmo Hotel Hong Kong
  • Dorsett Kwun Tong
  • Lei Yue Mun Park and Holiday Camp
  • Junior Police Call Permanent Activity Centre
  • Sai Kung Outdoor Recreation Centre

In addition, SmarTone PriorityPlus™ Premium, PriorityPlus™ members, long-term (10+ years) SmarTone customers and SmarTone Home 5G Broadband customers who are required to undergo mandatory quarantine at Penny's Bay Quarantine Centre, Junior Police Call Permanent Activity Centre at Pat Heung or AsiaWorld-Expo Community Treatment Facility will only need to provide designated proof of quarantine for verification to receive a 30-day free SmarTone Home 5G Broadband service plus 5G Wi-Fi 6 router*, delivered straight to customers' doorsteps^.
