FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX) - Shares in former SDax company SNP Schneider-Neureither & Partner made strong gains on Wednesday following a takeover bid from pharmaceuticals manufacturer Octapharma. They last gained 9.3 percent to 34.00 euros, which now puts them above Octapharma's bid. The Swiss want to pay 33.50 euros in cash per share in the Heidelberg-based software and consulting company. The offer is based on the assumption that SNP's Annual General Meeting will not approve a dividend payment for the 2022 fiscal year and would be reduced accordingly if one were to be approved./ck/ngu
