SOCIETÀ CATTOLICA DI ASSICURAZIONE S.P.A. Verona, 13 October 2021. Following the announcement made on April 12th, 2021, Cattolica Assicurazioni communicates that, after receiving the necessary authorisations from IVASS, the subordinated loan of €80 million granted to UBI Banca was repaid to Intesa Sanpaolo (which took over from UBI Banca).
As provided for in the contract, against the repayment of the loan, Intesa Sanpaolo simultaneously paid Cattolica, by offsetting the two amounts, the residual €80 million of the consideration for the sale of Lombarda Vita.
