Non-vaccinated passengers travelling to France from Tunisia and who have a compelling reason are no longer required to observe a 10-day home quarantine. Instead, they will observe a 7-day self-isolation, Tunisair said on Monday.

These passengers must present a negative PCR test carried out less than 72 hours before departure from Tunisia or an antigenic test less than 48 hours before departure.

On arrival in France, the systematic antigenic test will become random.

These decisions were taken after the French authorities decided to remove Tunisia from the red countries list, as of October 11, and to place it in the amber list of countries where active cases of coronavirus infections are under control.

Non-vaccinated passengers departing from France to Tunisia must have a compelling reason to travel, the company said.

As for vaccinated travellers, Tunisair indicated that no change in the travel conditions currently in force has been made in both directions.

These passengers are exempted from mandatory quarantine, provided that they present a certificate issued to this effect by the health authorities of the country of residence, with a non-mandatory recommendation to comply with self-isolation and to carry out a screening test in the event of the appearance of COVID-19 symptoms.
