Software AG Supervisory Board Announces Candidates for Election at Next Annual General Meeting of Shareholders

Darmstadt, Germany, Thursday, March 5, 2020

The Supervisory Board of Software AG (Frankfurt MDAX: SOW) today announced four nominations for election. Karl-Heinz Streibich has been nominated as new Supervisory Board member and candidate for Chairman to succeed Dr. Andreas Bereczky after 12 years of service. Ursula Soritsch-Renier and Ralf Dieter have both been recommended as new Supervisory Board members to replace Alf Henryk Wulf and Eun-Kyung Park, who will not stand for re-election. Supervisory Board member Markus Ziener will stand for re-election. Shareholders of Software AG will vote on the recommended nominees at this years' Annual General Meeting on 20 May 2020.

  • Karl-Heinz Streibich: A seasoned professional, Karl-Heinz Streibich has held a series of leadership roles in the technology sector. Since 2018, he has served as President of the Executive Board of acatech - Deutsche Akademie der Technikwissenschaften - and on numerous Supervisory Boards. Karl-Heinz Streibich also served as the Chairman of the Management Board of Software AG from 2003 to 2018, where he was an early thought leader on digitization and Industrial IoT.
  • Ursula Soritsch-Renier: Ursula Soritsch-Renier brings a wealth of skills and experience in complex change and digital and business transformation initiatives. Recently Group CIO and Digital Leader at Nokia, she previously held the role of Group CIO and Group Digital Leader of Swiss engineering and manufacturing firm Sulzer.
  • Ralf Dieter: Ralf Dieter is an accomplished business leader and as the CEO of Dürr AG, since 2018, has direct experience working with Software AG as a customer and partner. Along with Software AG, Dürr is one of the founders of the ADAMOS partnership. Ralf Dieter joined the Dürr Group in 2003 as CEO of Carl Schenck AG, a daughter company of Dürr AG, and has been a member of the Dürr Management Board since 2005. Since 2006, he has served as CEO of Dürr AG. Prior to this, he served as CEO of Carl Zeiss Metrology Division and held sales positions at IBM Europe and in an American ERP software company.
