On Thursday, December 14, Norges Bank raised the key policy rate to 4.50
percent. The Norwegian central bank increased the rate to combat continued high
inflation.

Today, SpareBank 1 SR-Bank is raising the interest rates on all savings accounts
by 0.25 percentage points. For home mortgages, we are raising the rate by up to
0.15 percentage points.

"We see that the expected development in the bank's borrowing costs allows us to
hold back somewhat on our home mortgage rates, while we choose to raise the
rates on our savings accounts more. We know that many of our personal customers
are feeling the increased rates, and we will follow them up closely going
forward. We encourage customers who need to make a financial plan to contact the
bank" says Roger Lund Antonesen, EVP of Retail Market.

The new terms will apply from December 19 for new loans, and from February 20,
2024, for existing loans. Customers will receive information in their online
banking or a letter in the mail about how the interest rate changes affects
them.
