Hahn & Co. Cement Holdings Limited made an offer to acquire 20.1% stake in SsangYong C&E Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A003410) for approximately KRW700 billion on February 5, 2024.
Hahn & Co. Cement Holdings Limited completed the acquisition of the remaining stake in SsangYong C&E Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A003410) on March 6, 2024.
SsangyongC&E Co Ltd, formerly Ssangyong Cement Industry Co Ltd, is a Korea-based company principally engaged in the production and sale of cement. The Company operates its business through seven segments. The Cement Business segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of cement, slag cement, and slag powder. The Ready Mixed Concrete Business segment produces and supplies ready mixed concrete. The Limestone Business segment manufactures and sells limestones for steel and high-grade limestones for desulfurization. The Shipping Business segment is engaged in maritime transportation, inland and port unloading business of products such as cement. The Environmental Resource Business segment is engaged in circular resource business. The Aggregate Business segment manufactures and sells sand and gravel. The Rental Business segment is engaged in real estate rental business.
