JUNEYAO AIR and AEGEAN announce the commencement of a codeshare partnership allowing both their passengers to benefit from increased connectivity while establishing Athens as a gateway between Asia and Europe.

JUNEYAO AIR, increases the European destinations of its network with the addition of Athens from Shanghai and provides passengers with a convenient and seamless booking experience to popular destinations of AEGEAN's international network in 5 countries, such as Helsinki, Milan, Rome, Naples, Barcelona, Madrid, Lisbon, Nice and Marseille.

Through the codeshare partnership, AEGEAN will further increase its international network options to passengers, as with this new codeshare flight between Athens and Shanghai, will become present for the first time, to China.

Codeshare flights are expected to commence on May 1st and will be available for booking as of middle of April through juneyaoair.com and aegeanair.com or via travel agencies. In the coming months JUNEYAO AIR and AEGEAN will further increase their joint codeshare network to include popular Greek destinations.

An interline cooperation between JUNEYAO AIR, a Star Alliance Connecting Partner and AEGEAN, a member of Star Alliance, has already been established, providing passengers access to several Greek domestic destinations via Athens.
