The State Bank of India, the country's public sector bank, moved its entire ATM network of 40,000 ATMs to a multi-vendor software solution implemented by CMS Info Systems, a payment solutions company, in a seven-year multi-million-dollar contract deal.

The multi-vendor software solution is helping the bank centralize its ATM channel management to a single central command control which can be used to enhance the customer experience by customizing offers as well as ensure the network has the latest security measures.

In the back-end the MVS allows for remote control monitoring and tracking of electronic journals, through dashboards, reporting and security alerts, thus significantly eliminating the need for physical intervention across a large geography.
