CHANGSHU, China, Oct 26, 2015 -- Sutor Technology Group Limited (the 'Company' or 'Sutor') (Nasdaq: TOR), one of the leading China-based manufacturers and customized service providers for fine finished steel products used by a variety of downstream applications, today announced that Ningbo Zhehua Heavy Steel Pipe Manufacturing Co., Ltd.( 'Ningbo Zhehua' ), one of Sutor's subsidiaries, was invited to attend the Tenth International Steel Pipe Industrial Exhibition in Shanghai from October 21 to October 23.
This exhibition was held in Shanghai New International Expo Center. The leaders from institutions including Chinese Academy of Engineering, Chinese Society for Metals, World Steel Association, industrial specialists and other guests attended the opening ceremony. There were total 312 companies from 13 countries that participated in this exhibition.
With global environmental problems becoming increasingly serious, iron and steel enterprises are expected to take more social responsibilities to promote green manufacturing. Environmental protection has been the high priority for Sutor in its business innovation. Many of its subsidiaries were awarded as 'Environmental Protection Excellent Enterprises' by various local governments.
