Taiwan Fertilizer Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,998.348 million compared to TWD 2,426.566 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 362.775 million compared to TWD 443.584 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 398.048 million compared to TWD 526.864 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.41 compared to TWD 0.54 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 4,620.383 million compared to TWD 5,533.033 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 681.598 million compared to TWD 710.772 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 1,584.158 million compared to TWD 1,078.535 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.62 compared to TWD 1.1 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 1.61 compared to TWD 1.1 a year ago.
Taiwan Fertilizer Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of fertilizers, chemical products and electronic chemicals. Its fertilizer products include ammonium sulfates, calcium superphosphates, compound fertilizers, organic fertilizers, urea and potassium chlorides. Its chemical products include industrial urea, liquid ammonia, nitric acids and sulfuric acids. Its electronic chemicals include photo resist agents, strippers, purifiers, organic acids and others.
