Taiwan Hon Chuan Enterprise Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 5,313.023 million compared to TWD 6,193.449 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 661.340 million compared to TWD 755.767 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 536.250 million compared to TWD 431.022 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.85 compared to TWD 1.47 a year ago. For the half year, total revenue was TWD 9,732.503 million compared to TWD 11,159.955 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 1,036.472 million compared to TWD 1,207.999 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 802.194 million compared to TWD 750.576 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 2.75 compared to TWD 2.56 a year ago.
Taiwan Hon Chuan Enterprise Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sale of packaging materials for beverage industry. The main products include bottle cap products such as aluminum, plastic and lug bottle caps, as well as labels, polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles, mineral water bottles, sterile bottles, filter heads, filter paper products and heat shrinkable packaging films. The Company is also engaged in the beverage filling business and the original equipment manufacturer business. The Company operates within the domestic market and to overseas markets.
