Taiwan Taffeta Fabric Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 395.25 million compared to TWD 501.33 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 20.8 million compared to TWD 15.37 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.17 compared to TWD 0.13 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.17 compared to TWD 0.13 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 759.13 million compared to TWD 951.47 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 17.72 million compared to TWD 22.65 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.15 compared to TWD 0.19 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.15 compared to TWD 0.19 a year ago.
TAIWAN TAFFETA FABRIC CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of fabrics and yarn products. The businesses of the Company include the manufacture, sales and trading of finished polyester fabrics, the manufacture, sales and trading of polyester gray fabrics, the trading of yarn materials, the provision of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) services, as well as the development, leasing and sales of residential properties. The Company operates through four segments, including cotton mill segment, fabric mill segment, construction segment and accessories and garments segment. The Company operates businesses in domestic market and other markets, such as Asia, Europe, America and Africa.
