Taiyen Biotech Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 790.850 million compared to TWD 718.921 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 98.428 million compared to TWD 112.504 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 81.788 million compared to TWD 89.595 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.41 compared to TWD 0.45 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 1,515.307 million compared to TWD 1,394.969 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 195.322 million compared to TWD 209.659 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 147.638 million compared to TWD 185.092 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.74 compared to TWD 0.93 a year ago.
Taiyen Biotech Co., Ltd is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture, distribution and trading of salt products, salt by-products and other salt derivatives. The Company offers salt products, skin care and cosmetics, bottled water products, facial and body cleansers, health and dietary supplements, as well as other products, such as collagen raw materials, biomedical materials, microbial agents and others. The Companyâs salt products include fine salts, dried salts, low sodium salts, bay salts and other salts, which are applied in industry, agriculture, food processing, cooking and others. The Company distributes its products in Taiwan market and to overseas markets.
