TAS Offshore Berhad is a Malaysia-based investment holding company, which is engaged in the business of shipbuilding and its secondary business is in the provision of ship repair services. The Company's shipbuilding activities include hull and superstructure construction; propulsion and power system installation; machinery and equipment installation; communication, navigation, and surveillance systems installation; interior fit-out; painting, and vessel testing and commissioning. The Company also provides slipway and afloat ship repair services which includes routine marine engine, machinery, and equipment inspection and maintenance; routine piping and wiring inspection and maintenance; repairing damage from collision and other accidents; equipment installation, and repainting. The Company's constructed vessels include ferries, tugboats, harbor tugs, barges, landing craft, anchor handling tugs (AHT), anchor handling tug and supply (AHTS), workboats, and flotsam retrieval crafts.
