Our Midlands team has gifted a selection of toys to Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity, as part of our ongoing commitment to working in partnership with local communities. The charity received the toys which have now been distributed to the patients and staff at the hospital.

Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity raises funds to support the specialised care and treatment for children and young people up to the age of 16, and improve their hospital experience. The toys, which are to be used by both the hospital's play team and patients and their families, include items such as arts and crafts sets, activity packs and card games.

Commenting on the support it has received, Saranne Moreno, Head of Corporate Strategic Partnerships at the Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity, said: 'It is incredibly important for all of our patients to have toys to play with and activities to take part in. They not only help with continuing the development of young minds but also provide distraction during procedures and recovery and entertainment during long stays. Our patients are our number one priority and we are always looking at ways to improve their experience with us. We're so thankful to Taylor Wimpey Midlands for their generosity.'

Ben Walker, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey Midlands, said: 'It's always a pleasure to support the communities close to where we build. We are so thrilled to hear that the toys will provide some much needed enjoyment amongst the children.'
