After three days of inspections, Tenaris threading facility in Saudi Arabia has successfully passed a surveillance audit conducted by the American Petroleum Institute (API).

This was the first audit process conducted remotely due to continued travel restrictions and safety measures in place to control the spread of COVID-19.

The facility validated its API 5CT license as well as its compliance of the Quality Management System requirements defined by API Q1.

The auditor recognized the local team's competence, confidence, and solid understanding of API standards as a main strength, with excellent implementation and cooperation capabilities, incorporation of process control activities and procedures, as well as the execution of a Quality Management System to oversee production, calibration control, and an effective inspection process.

'This is an important achievement especially considering the circumstances,' said Gabriel Podskubka, Tenaris President for Eastern Hemisphere. 'The results demonstrate how committed our team is to providing reliable and high-quality products and services to our customers.'

Tenaris Saudi Arabia is dedicated to manufacturing premium connections technology and has also received important Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) certifications such as ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001.
