Tenet Healthcare : Announces Award Recipients of its National Employee Recognition Program

Over 90 individuals and/or teams named a 'Tenet Hero' for their positive impact in 2020

DALLAS - May 11, 2021 - Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC) announced today, as part of Hospital Week and Nurses Week, the results of its national recognition program to honor employees. The Tenet Heroes program celebrates those individuals who go above and beyond their daily job responsibilities to make a meaningful impact within their respective communities. Nominated by fellow colleagues, Tenet Heroes exemplify the company's core values and key tenets of its Community Built on Care.

More than 90 individuals and/or teams were named Tenet Heroes in 2020, 26 of whom were inducted into The Tenet Heroes' Hall of Fame, the Company's highest honor for employees. With leadership representation from across the company's businesses and markets, Tenet formed a selection committee to identify this year's Hall of Fame winners.

The 2020 Hall of Fame inductees include employees from across Tenet's hospitals and USPI surgical facilities and other ambulatory centers. This year's group is comprised of infection preventionists, registered nurses, clinical social workers, team members who specialize in physical therapy and rehabilitation, front desk staff and many others. Above all, they are compassionate and humble with a firm commitment to excellence during one of the hardest healthcare environments in recent history. The 2020 class includes:
