The Siam Cement Public Company Limited updated the list of SCC's executives with the effective date of January 1, 2020, the company appointed Mr. Sakchai Patiparnpreechavud as Vice President-Polyolefins and Vinyl Business, Chemicals Business, Mr. Mongkol Hengrojanasophon as Vice President-Olefins Business and Operations, Chemicals Business, Mr. Suracha Udomsak as Vice President, Chemicals Business and in charge of Chief Technology Officer-Innovation and Technology, Mr. Chana Poomee as Vice President-Cement and Construction Solution Business, Cement-Building Materials Business, Mr. Paramate Nisagornsen as Vice President-Regional Business, Cement-Building Materials Business, Mr. Aree Chavalitcheewingul as President, Cementhai Holding Company Limited and Mr. Cholanat Yanaranop will be vacated from the executive position on January 1, 2020 due to his retirement, Mr. Wichan Jitpukdee will be vacated from the executive position on January 1, 2020 pursuant to the initial public offering (IPO) and listing the shares of SCG Packaging Public Company Limited (SCGP) on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. In this regard, he would retain his positions as the director and the President of SCGP.
The Siam Cement Public Company Limited is a Thailand-based industrial company. The Company operates through three segments: Cement-Building Materials Business, Chemicals Business (SCGC), Packaging Business (SCGP), and Others. Its Cement-Building Materials Business manufactures and distributes grey cement, ready-mixed concrete, white cement, dry mortar, refractory products, lightweight concrete, roof tiles, ceiling and wallboard, wood substitute, concrete paving blocks, ceramic tiles, sanitary wares and sanitary fittings. SCGC manufactures and sells olefins, polyolefins, vinyl and other chemical products. SCGP segment offers an integrated packaging chain, including fiber-based packaging, packaging paper and performance and polymer packaging, and fibrous chain, including foodservice products, pulp and paper products. Its Others segment invests in new S-curve businesses and jointly invests with companies in other businesses, mainly agricultural machines, automotive parts and components.
