Thred Limited has reported the first of a series of independent external user group workshops has occurred with positive outcomes and user feedback. Thred's beta phase platform was provided and successfully accessed and trialled by over 20 users along with specific feedback obtained regarding brand, design, feature sets and functionality. It is usual for consumer focussed technology companies to align their development closely with target demographic input to ensure that the overall product value proposition and features meet user needs and expectations. As previously overviewed, Thred has engaged an experienced external corporation called YouthInsights to create and conduct a series of workshops around Australia to showcase the Thred platform, features, usability and design, and elicit user feedback to ensure close alignment with consumer needs and preferences. The first two workshops of the series were recently conducted in Perth with anticipated target demographics. Thred reported very positive feedback that, at a minimum, validates the market opportunity. Moreover, and more pleasing, the users validated nearly all of the existing and proposed feature sets and provided Thred with important feedback on additional feature sets, which Thred and its development partner Lateral will attempt to incorporate into the commercial launch in late April of 2017. The age range of the users in the groups was 18 to 29, with a female skew.
