On November 11, Uchibori Masao, the governor of Fukushima prefecture, visited the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station.

The Governor was given a close look at decommissioning efforts underway from high ground overlooking Units 1~4 and also shown ALPS related facilities.

After the tour, Uchibori Masao, the governor of Fukushima prefecture, directed words of gratitude to the personnel at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station saying, "We are committed to ensuring that the decommissioning work moves forward safely. Your daily efforts are of great value to the residents of the evacuation areas and they dispel adverse impact on reputation for Fukushima and throughout Japan. Please take good care of your health and carry on with the important decommissioning work".

TEPCO will continue to move steadily and safely forward with the long-term decommissioning process with the understanding and cooperation of society.
