Drive units for linear and rotary applications
Tsubakimoto Chain (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan. President: Isamu Osa) is releasing its Specification Selection Software for Tsubaki Pin Gear Drive Units designed for linear and rotary applications. This software will be available for use on the Tsubakimoto Chain website on April 8.
Tsubaki Pin Gear Drive Units are available in both linear and rotary configurations in which a pin-type rack or wheel meshes with a gear provided with a specialized tooth profile. Since the product release in 2005, Tsubakimoto Chain has repeatedly updated this product line to meet increasingly diverse customer needs.
Conventionally, technical personnel have had to meet with the customer in order to determine application requirements and select a design. The Specification Selection Software simplifies this process by allowing customers to quickly and easily select specifications themselves according to their particular application. Tsubakimoto Chain intends to continue introducing service innovations such as this.
