TürkTraktör Announcing the First Half Financial Results of 2023
TürkTraktör, the first manufacturer of the Turkish automotive sector and Turkey's leading company in the agriculture mechanization, announced the first half financial results covering January-June 2023. TürkTraktör completed the first six months with records in production, exports and total sales volume, enjoying a 18% increase, 19% increase and 25% increase respectively. In the first six months, TürkTraktör enjoyed a 129% increase in turnover while reaching a total profit of TL 3.6 billion.
Expressing his excitement for always reaching new heights, Aykut Özüner, TürkTraktör Company Leader said: "As TürkTraktör, we strive to prepare all our areas of activity for the future on our way to 70th anniversary. In order to meet all the needs of our farmers, we continue to transform our dealers to 3S plazas to offer sales, after-sales and technical service. As of the first half of 2023, the total number of our 3S plazas reached 76. We have sped up our investments in eco-friendly and technological products. We continue the transition to Stage V, the latest emission level for our products. So far, we have launched 27 domestic tractor models. As a company, we are aware of our responsibility to respect the environment and society, and to leave a livable world to future generations. To this end, we shared our short, medium and long-term sustainability targets with the public in April as part of our sustainability strategy 'Future Impact'. We put into operation our first renewable energy investment in our Erenler Factory in the first six months of the year. Our goal is to meet all of our energy needs from our own renewable energy sources by 2026. We see it as one of our responsibilities to play an active role with our environmental, social and governance targets to create positive value in our sphere of influence that spans our entire ecosystem. As the TürkTraktör family, we know that , 'Everything we do today has an impact on the future'. That's why we will never cease to do our best for our country, our farmers and the environment."
Market Leader for 17 Years in a Row
TürkTraktör manufactured 26,215 tractors in the first six months of 2023. The Company completed the sale of 17,287 tractors to the domestic market while 9,851 units in exports. According to the TurkStat June-end data, TürkTraktör is once again the market leader, maintaining its leadership for 17 years in a row thanks to its brands New Holland and CASE IH.
