Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported net interest income was TRY 18,141.04 million compared to TRY 16,785.42 million a year ago. Net income was TRY 18,218.28 million compared to TRY 12,869.22 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TRY 4.338 compared to TRY 3.064 a year ago.
For the six months, net interest income was TRY 36,820.09 million compared to TRY 31,043.3 million a year ago. Net income was TRY 33,584.12 million compared to TRY 21,084.9 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TRY 7.996 compared to TRY 5.02 a year ago.
Turkiye Garanti Bankasi AS is a Turkey-based banking institution. It operates under the following business segments: Retail Banking, Corporate/Commercial Banking and Investment Banking.
