UBM Development : David S. Christmann appointed Chairman of the Management Board of UBM Development in Germany

Bernhard Egert and Roman Ehrentraut join forces to succeed Werner Huber as technical managing directors in Germany

Vienna, 07.03.2024 - As Dr Bertold Wild is due to leave the company permanently to enjoy his retirement from mid-May, industry insider David S. Christmann will take over from him as Chairman of the Management Board of UBM Germany from 1 April 2024. Bernhard Egert and Roman Ehrentraut already succeeded Werner Huber as technical managing directors in Germany at the beginning of this year. They have assumed this position alongside their responsibility for the area of Timber Construction/Green Building and Technical Competences in the listed company, respectively.

This means that from the beginning of April 2024 the management board in Germany will consist of the following four people: David S. Christmann (Chairman), Daniel Pfister (Financial) and also Bernhard Egert (Technical) and Roman Ehrentraut (Technical).

David S. Christmann has held various management positions during his career, at Isaria, Rock Capital, Patrizia and aurelis, and most recently as Divisional Director at Quarterback in Munich. A graduate architect and urban planner, he has over 30 years of experience in the industry and is well connected.

"With his expertise and experience, David Christmann will not just skilfully lead UBM in Germany through the current industry crisis, he will also further develop UBM's high-profile projects and our competence in timber construction," says Thomas G.
