URS Corporation (NYSE:URS) today announced it has been awarded two indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, multiple-award pillar contracts by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic (SSC Atlantic). The Company was selected as one of 15 prime contractors to provide business and force support services, and as one of 13 prime contractors to provide integrated cyber operations services. Each contract has a one-year base period, followed by four one-year option periods, and each has a maximum, aggregate value of $899 million to all awardees, if all options are exercised.

Pillar contracts are designed to align the services provided by awardees with SSC Atlantic's specific technological functions. Under the terms of the contracts, URS can compete for or be awarded task orders to provide program support, and network and cyber security services to the U.S. Navy.

In addition, URS was selected as a teaming partner on ten small-business pillar awards and two full and open pillar awards. These awards will support SSC Atlantic in the following areas: production, installation and in-service, transport and computing infrastructure, battlespace awareness, and decision superiority.

Commenting on the contracts, Randall A. Wotring, President of Federal Services for URS, said: "We are proud to have been awarded these two prime vehicle contracts and the pillar subcontract awards. These awards further expand the critical services that URS provides to the Navy. We look forward to supporting SSC Atlantic as it operates, secures, and defends networks and data as part of the warfighter's mission."
