(Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Masaya Takada, hereinafter "V- cube") is pleased to announce that it has adopted the "V-CUBE Seminar GPT" which utilizes natural language processing AI, as well as videos such as business reports using voice-generative AI for its "V-CUBE Seminar", a live delivery service for corporate clients, for the FY2023 General Meeting of Shareholders.

◼ Background and objectives of the "V-CUBE Seminar GPT" and the introduction of business reports and other videos using voice-generated AI.

V-CUBE Seminar GPT is a combination of our proprietary algorithms and OpenAI's Whisper API and ChatGPT API with the V-CUBE Seminar; live delivery service for corporate customers.

The service automatically and in real time transcribes the content of seminar lectures and creates minutes and summaries.

Until now, it has been difficult for people attending an event or seminar in the middle of the event to understand what the speaker had said up to that point, making it difficult for them to gain a deeperunderstanding of the content. In addition, the process of taking minutes, summarizing, and compiling the seminar content after the lecture required a lot of time and effort on the part of the organizers. In order to solve these issues, we have been providing V-CUBE Seminar GPT since last March.

The shareholder meetings that we have introduced this time also share the same challenges. According to the Companies Act, shareholders are obliged to take minutes at shareholders' meetings, and V-CUBE Seminar GPT makes it possible to reduce the burden of taking minutes. In addition to this, from April 2024, it will be mandatory for businesses to provide reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities (*). The real-time transcription can also be used as part of the reasonable accommodation response.

In addition, the use of voice-generated AI to create videos of business reports and other information can reduce the burden of preparation and the burden on the chairperson on the day of the meeting. Business reports must be prepared in close coordination with the IR and business divisions, but not many companies are able to go beyond compiling basic information because of the overlap between the fiscal year end and the general meeting preparation period. Therefore, we have developed a video production function that uses generative AI to reduce the burden of explaining the meeting on the day of the meeting. In some cases, actual use of this function has significantly reduced the burden of advance preparation for shareholder meetings.

By adopting these functions, we will reduce the burden of advance preparation for shareholders' meetings and support efficient operation on the day of the meeting as well.
