VAN LANSCHOT : Heleen Kersten nominated as a member of the Supervisory Board of Van Lanschot

The Supervisory Board will propose to the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of Van Lanschot NV to be held on 11 May 2011 the appointment of Ms H.H. (Heleen) Kersten as a supervisory director.

Ms Kersten will succeed Mr C.W. (Cees) de Monchy, who will step down this year as a supervisory director of Van Lanschot after having served the maximum term.

Ms Kersten has worked for many years as a lawyer, since 1989 in the corporate law practice of Stibbe. She was appointed as a partner of Stibbe in 1997 and is since 2008 managing partner of the firm. Her extensive knowledge and experience in the fields of management, national and international business and in particular corporate law will be valuable in her role as supervisory director at Van Lanschot.

Ms Kersten's term of appointment will expire on the day of the first Annual General Meeting of Shareholders to be held four years after her appointment.
