Company Versant Power

Versant Power is a regulated electric transmission and distribution utility. The Company is engaged in establishing electricity grid, a system of poles, wires, substations, meters and other equipment. The Company provides electric delivery service to two areas: the Bangor Hydro District and the Maine Public District. The Company is engaged in serving 159,000 customer accounts in northern and eastern Maine. Its programs and services include Maine Green Power, P.L.U.S. Program, Pine Tree Zone Electrical Rate, Voluntary Renewable Resource Fund, Municipal Street Lighting and Vegetation Management.
