Skinwalker Ranch, the subject of History Channel's "The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch," has partnered with Samsung and VirnetX for displays and collaboration technology in its command center, according to a press release.

The project includes use of War Room, the VirnetX military-grade videoconferencing solution, for encrypted communications, along with Samsung interactive displays installed throughout the facility. Samsung interactive displays are used with AThENA, an AI analytics platform by OmniTeq, for data analysis, research and collaboration. The team also uses Samsung tablets for field work.

"We are excited to work with Samsung in the scientific exploration of unidentified aerial phenomena activity at Skinwalker Ranch," Kendall Larsen, VirnetX CEO and president, said in the release. "VirnetX provides a secure mesh to the Samsung digital displays and all the information gathered at Skinwalker Ranch. Our War Room video conferencing provides military-grade security and runs beautifully on Samsung displays. War Room video conferencing is impenetrable."

"I am proud to be working with the team at Samsung and VirnetX to incorporate the most advanced technology platforms to aid our investigation of this most unique location," Brandon Fugal, owner of Skinwalker Ranch, said in the release.

"While the Skinwalker Ranch team is conducting unprecedented research, its world-class, highly secure facility offers a model blueprint for all command and control centers," David Phelps, head of the display division, Samsung Electronics America, said in the release. "A well-designed command center should empower its staff to ingest vast information in a clear, defined way for easy situational awareness and decision-making. Display technology can play a central role in facilitating team collaboration and understanding of what is happening during tactical operations in the field or with something outside of this world."
