The board of directors of Wai Chun Group Holdings Limited announced that (i) Ms. LI Huifang has tendered her resignation as the company secretary of the Company and has ceased to act as an authorised representative of the Company under Rule 3.05 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited with effect from 28 March 2024; and (ii) Mr. Lam Kai Kei has been appointed as the Company Secretary and Authorised Representative with effect from 28 March 2024. Mr. Lam, aged 38, holds a master's degree in corporate governance from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Accounting from Hong Kong Shue Yan University. Mr. Lam is a fellow certified practising accountant of CPA Australia and an associate member of both The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute and The Chartered Governance Institute in the United Kingdom.

Mr. Lam has more than 15 years of experience in corporate governance, corporate finance, auditing and financial management. Mr. Lam is currently a financial controller of Renaissance Asia Silk Road Group Limited, the issued shares of which are listed on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange. Mr. Lam was an accounting manager of Sino-Ocean Group Holding Limited, the issued shares of which are listed on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange from December 2021 to October 2022.

He also served as finance manager of China Vast Industrial Urban Development Company Limited, the issued shares of which are listed on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange from December 2017 to December 2021. Prior to joining the listed companies, he mainly worked in two international audit firms for over 7 years. The Board is of the view that Mr. Lam is qualified to act as the company secretary under Rule 3.28 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on the Stock Exchange.
