Anova Metals Limited announced that drilling at the Windinne Well gold deposit, part of the Golden Dragon Project, is progressing well with 4116m drilled to yesterday. The initial 10,000m RC drill program in progress, funded by DC Mines Pty Ltd. as part of the acquisition terms, is being undertaken through first quarter of 2023. Figure 1 shows the location of the current drilling within the wider project area, and Figure 2 shows the details of the holes drilled to date in the Windinne Well area.

The first batch of samples (3050 in total) have been dispatched to the lab, placing the program on schedule to receive the first assay results during First Quarter 2023 as planned. Post completion of the initial program, the current RC rig is expected to remain at Golden Dragon and continue its focus on drilling primary gold targets to build free milling gold resources. A second RC drill rig is set to be mobilised and deployed to the nearby Fields Find Project during March.

This rig is to focus on drilling both gold and base metal targets across that area. The initial focus area is planned to be extension of the free milling Baron gold deposit, located on the eastern side of the project area. This dual focus on gold and base metals targets at Fields Find demonstrates Anova's approach across the tenure, with the base metal potential being aggressively pursued alongside the targeting of primary gold deposits - as evidenced with the recent commencement of an airborne EM survey over the ground.
