KGMobilians Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A046440) and unknown buyers agreed to acquire 77.06% stake in Woongjin Passone Co. Ltd. from Woongjin Thinkbig Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A095720) for KRW 67.2 billion on February 7, 2013. Woongjin Think will sell 14.11 million shares at KRW 4766 per share and KGMobilians will acquire 6.98 million shares of Woongjin Passone for KRW 4766 per share.
The Board of Directors of KGMobilians and Woongjin Thinkbig passed the resolution for transaction on February 7, 2013. The transaction is expected to be completed on March 15, 2013.
WOONGJIN THINKBIG CO., LTD. is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the publishing business. The Company mainly operates its business through three main business divisions: education culture business division, which provides home-school materials, including Korean language learning books, math books, Chinese characters learning books and society and science books mainly for elementary school students; future education business division, which provides learning encyclopedias, experiential knowledge picture books, science complete collections, language complete collections, music animations and others, and others business division, which engages in the after school education business, English private educational institute business, and production and development of publications.
