Yeou Yih Steel Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 685.988 million compared to TWD 612.090 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 40.404 million compared to operating loss of TWD 2.358 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 37.397 million compared to net loss of TWD 942,000 a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.42 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.01 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 1,095.944 million compared to TWD 1,167.953 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 48.420 million compared to operating loss of TWD 21.607 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 44.004 million compared to net loss of TWD 14.503 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.49 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.16 a year ago.
