Yokowo Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the firsts quarter of June 2021. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of ¥16,021 million against ¥11,569 million a year ago. Operating profit was ¥1,219 million against ¥426 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was ¥916 million against ¥242 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was ¥40.80 against ¥11.95 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was ¥40.78 against ¥11.93 a year ago.
YOKOWO CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale of various types of electronic equipment. The Company operates in three business segments. The Vehicle Communication equipment segment supplies various of on-board antennas covering broad frequency ranges, including those for inter-vehicle and road-to-vehicle communications in advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and automated driving systems, in step with trends towards more compact composite models, media diversification and radio frequency identifier (RFID) support. The Circuit Testing Connectors segment provides connectors and test systems for the front to back-end testing. The Wireless Communication Equipment segment provides connectors for small mobile devices and point of sale (POS) devices.
