Zenith Energy Limited announced the appointment of Mr. Peter Tazewell as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of the Company. The appointment follows the resignation of Ms. Rebecca Stringer-Krein as CFO & Company Secretary, who is departing to enable her to focus on other areas of interest and new opportunities. Peter is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and an experienced C-suite executive with considerable finance, management, transaction and corporate experience.

He has formerly held CFO positions with Matrix Composite & Engineering Ltd. and CSBP Limited and was most recently the CEO of DTI Group Limited. Peter spent over ten years with Wesfarmers Limited in a variety of executive and transaction-based roles and earlier in his career was Director, Corporate Finance at KPMG and a Manager of Equity Capital Markets at Macquarie Bank. As CFO at Matrix Composites & Engineering, he implemented all Board, financial and commercial processes to support an ASX listed environment.

Peter has significant capital markets experience in both equity and debt markets, having undertaken IPOs, secondary capital raisings and debt refinancing projects. He has also led significant corporate transactions including Wesfarmers' $165 million acquisition of IAMA Limited and the $375 million acquisition of Lumley Group. Peter has overseen several business transformation projects including a $15 million ERP replacement at CSBP and was responsible for commercial operations of CSBP's chemical operations during an expansion lead doubling of production and revenue.

During this period Peter was responsible for negotiating significant contracts for the supply of natural gas, ammonia and caustic soda as well as overseeing the commercial issues arising out of the Varanus Island explosion (2008).
