The Board of Directors of Birmingham International Holdings Limited informed the shareholders of the company and potential investors that based on information currently available to the Board, the Group is expected to record an increase in loss for the six months ended 31 December 2016 as compared to the corresponding period in 2015. The increase in loss was mainly due to the increase in operating costs of the Group, in particular the higher spending on players' registration fees and club staff costs due to the recruitment of new players and manager for the football club. The Board is of the view that the introduction of the new players and manager for the football club will help to improve the future performance of the club.
