Scott Gunter is appointed CEO of AXA XL

AXA announced today the appointment of Scott Gunter, previously Senior Vice President of Chubb Group and President of Chubb's North America Commercial Insurance division, as CEO of AXA XL. He will replace Greg Hendrick, who has decided to pursue other opportunities outside the Group.

Scott will join AXA's Management Committee, reporting to Thomas Buberl, CEO of AXA.

Scott Gunter

Scott Gunter holds a bachelor's degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and graduated from Queen's University (Ontario, Canada) Executive Program. Before joining AXA, he served as Senior Vice President of ChubbGroupand President of Chubb's North America Commercial Insurance division. He was previously Chief Operating Officer, North America Personal Risk Services and Chief Underwriting Officer of Chubb Commercial Insurance. Scott started his career in 1986 and has served in a number of positions of increasing responsibility in underwriting and field management in the US and Canada.
