Roman Regelman, BNY Mellon Head of Digital, to be Featured Speaker at Marquee Industry Events

Regelman will speak at The Trading Show, BankAI, and FT U.S. Banking Forum

New York, Sept. 16, 2019 - BNY Mellon today announced that Roman Regelman, head of digital, will be speaking at three leading financial technology conferences during Fall 2019.

In his remarks, Regelman will talk about the winning formula for digitizing organizations, especially those with a remarkable legacy such as BNY Mellon; the role of data, the client experience and AI in driving digitization; and changing the way we work.

Details of the three speaking engagements include:

The Trading Show
Mr. Regelman will deliver the opening keynote at The Trading Show, a premier electronic trading and quantitative investment conference in New York City, on Sept. 25, 2019.

During his speech, The Three Digital Horizons, Mr. Regelman will address the approaches to digital and share one that is helping dramatically accelerate BNY Mellon's progress in this space, which include working across three horizons and building six capabilities to support the organization.

The Trading Show is attended by more than 1200 algorithmic traders, quants, data scientists, financial engineers and market regulators, and will feature 60+ sessions covering topics including alternative data, artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and automated trading.

BankAI
Regelman will be in Chicago on Oct. 7, 2019, to speak at the BankAI conference. His speech, Follow the Leader: AI Innovation, will focus on the uses of AI in banking and how BNY Mellon is approaching a combination AI+HI (human intelligence) to drive its digital strategy.

Organized by American Banker publisher Source Media, the BankAI event will focus on the use of artificial intelligence and data science in the financial services industry. The event attracts executives from across financial services and fintech.

FT U.S. Banking Forum
Lastly, Regelman will participate on the panel, The Coming Storm, at the FT U.S. Banking Forum on Oct. 24, 2019, in New York City.

The panel will focus on new and emerging technologies that will assist banks taking a more holistic approach to risk management, compliance, cyber security and other functions.

Organized by The Financial Times, the U.S. Banking Forum will feature over a dozen sessions covering topics that include monetary policy, geopolitical dynamics, emerging technology, and industry consolidation. The event attracts senior banking professionals and C-Suite executives, as well as regulators and senior government representatives.
