Subject to the approval of the responsible antitrust authorities, BayWa AG is to acquire 60 percent of the shares in the speciality trader Royal Ingredients Group International B.V. (Royal Ingredients) through its Dutch division BayWa Agri Supply & Trade BV. The acquisition is part of the BayWa Agri Supply & Trade (BAST) business division's strategy to expand its range of speciality cereals and services. Royal Ingredients is a leading supplier of conventional and organic starches, vegetable proteins, grains and seeds to the global food and animal feed industries.
