DENVER, CO, August 2, 2013 - Brinx Resources Ltd. ("Brinx Resources" or "Brinx" or the "Company") has announced today that it has received notification from the Oklahoma-2013 exploration project operating partner that drilling of the OK-13-2 well has been completed. Following completion of drilling, it was determined that the well would be non-commercial. As a result, the OK-13-2 well will be plugged and abandoned.

The Company anticipates that drilling of the remaining six prospects of Phase-1 at the Oklahoma-2013 project will continue following rig and crew mobilization to the next prospect location. Confirmation of a drilling start date for the third well in the program (OK-13-3) is expected from the project operator within the next two weeks.

The Oklahoma-2013 project is a multi-phase multi-well exploration drill program currently being conducted by Brinx Resources and its partners. Phase-1 of the Oklahoma-2013 drill program consists of eight (8) wells targeting the first selections from at least 34 high-graded prospects generated by the partnership's proprietary 3D seismic database that covers the entire 83,043 acres or 130 square miles project area. Drilling at the multi-phase Oklahoma-2013 project is expected to continue through 2014.
