German utility EnBW on Thursday said its adjusted core earnings rose by 24% in the first half of 2020, on the back of a strong renewables business where profits doubled as two offshore wind parks started operation.
The group also confirmed that it expects to reach the lower end of its 2.75 billion to 2.9 billion euros (2.49-2.63 billion pounds) target range for adjusted core earnings in 2020.
