Eurazeo : Launch of the 10th edition of the « a photographer for Eurazeo » competition and creation of a new award dedicated to young photographers in partnership with the Ensp of Arles

LAUNCH OF THE 10TH EDITION OF THE "A PHOTOGRAPHER FOR EURAZEO" COMPETITION AND CREATION OF A NEW AWARD DEDICATED TO YOUNG PHOTOGRAPHERS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE ENSP OF ARLES

Eurazeo today launches the tenth edition of its annual photo competition.

This competition, which has rewarded the works of professional photographers since 2010, offers prize money of €10,000. To mark its tenth anniversary, Eurazeo invites photographers to tell a story that is of particular interest to them through a series of twelve photos.

Love stories, stories of the past, funny stories, storie with a big S, never-ending stories, tall stories...

whatever: "TELL US STORIES".

For the tenth year of this award and within a few days of the 50th edition of the Rencontres Photographiques competition in Arles, Eurazeo has also announced the creation of a new competition called "Eurazeo pour la Jeune Création photographique" in partnership with the Arles Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie (French National School of Photography - ENSP). Students and young graduates from the school are invited to dwell on the same theme as the main "Grand Prix" competition. The young photographer, whose series will be singled out by the jury comprising professional photographers and the Director of the ENSP, will receive prize money of €5,000.

The two prizewinners' works will be exhibited in early 2020 at the Hôtel de l'Industrie, 4 place Saint- Germain-des-Près, in Paris. They will also feature in the Group's communication media and be displayed at its Paris and New York offices.

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

Photographers are invited to delve into their imagination and offer their vision of the main theme in any field of photography. Eurazeo's "Grand Prix" photo competition is open to all professional photographers, whatever their reputation or specialty (plastic artists, photojournalists, landscapers, portrait artists, etc.).

Each candidate is asked to present a coherently structured photo series that reflects a personal vision. The photographs of short-listed submissions will be presented to a jury comprising around ten members from the world of photography, including the Director of the ENSP who joins our jury as part of our partnership with the school, and Eurazeo representatives.

PARTICIPATION TERMS

The participation terms are described in the competition rules available at www.eurazeo.com or on request from the company.

Participants are asked to submit their presentation no later than November 30, 2019.
