-In keeping with its commitment to implement diversity and inclusion (D&I) enterprise-wide, Exelon named 21 companies to its 2019 D&I Honor Roll, which recognizes partners in banking, insurance, IT and professional services for their work to include women, minorities and other diverse groups in key roles on Exelon's account teams.

Honorees were commended for their work in 2018 during Exelon's Day Forum on Increasing Diversity in the Workplace, where they shared best practices and success stories. Following the forum, recipients attended the D&I Honor Roll Dinner at the Art Institute of Chicago.

'At Exelon, we know that a diverse and inclusive culture leads to greater innovation and better results for our customers and communities, and we look for those same qualities in our business partners,' said Exelon Executive Vice President of Corporate Operations Bridget Reidy. 'The goal of the D&I Honor Roll is to not only encourage companies to share in our commitment to inclusivity, but to create a forum where we can all exchange best practices, as well.'

This year, Exelon recognized the following companies: Accenture, Aon, Beecher Carlson, CIBC, Citibank, Deloitte Consulting LLP, Duff & Phelps, Ernst & Young, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, M&T Bank, Marsh, Morgan Stanley, MUFG, Northern Trust Company, PwC, Sath Technologies Inc., Sumitomo, West Monroe Partners, LLC, Willis Towers Watson and 720 Worldwide Inc.

'Hiring and developing people with a broad and diverse set of experiences and world views is central to serving our clients,' said Isabelle Voler, associate, Derivatives and Capital Markets, Goldman Sachs. 'We are proud to share this ethos with Exelon and to be part of Exelon's diversity and inclusion program for suppliers for the ninth year in a row.'

TD Bank will also be recognized as the 'Most Improved Partner' because of its significant efforts over the past year to increase female and minority representation on the account teams working with Exelon. Last year's 'Most Improved Partner,' Duff & Phelps, is the only new addition to the 2019 D&I Honor Roll.

The D&I Honor Roll is just one way in which Exelon encourages diverse and inclusive practices. The company was named to DiversityInc's list of the Top 50 Companies for Diversity and Inclusion and the Human Rights Campaign's Best Places to Work. In addition, Forbes named Exelon to its second annual list of the Best Employers for Diversity in a national survey based on feedback from companies' own employees. Exelon also joined the United Nations HeForShe campaign in 2017, committing to improving the company's retention of women and donating $3 million to STEM programs for young women by 2020.

Overall, 83 percent of charitable contributions from Exelon companies and the Exelon Foundation in 2018 went to organizations supporting diverse populations.
