fastjet is pleased to announce the appointment of Colin Child as Non-Executive Chairman of the Company with effect from 1 October 2015.

Colin, a Chartered Accountant, has extensive knowledge of international growth businesses and more than 20 years' experience as a director of listed companies including, most recently, as Group Finance Director of De La Rue Plc from 2010 to July 2015. Colin was also a Non-Executive Director at Rank Group Plc from 2011 to March 2014 where he was Chairman of the Audit Committee and Nominations Committee as well as the Senior Independent Director. Colin's previous roles include Group Finance Director of DTZ Holdings plc, Stanley Leisure plc and Fitness First Plc.

Clive Carver, who has acted as Interim Non-Executive Chairman since 1 April 2015, will resume his role as Non-Executive Director on the same date.

Ed Winter, Chief Executive Officer, said: "Colin brings with him valuable and highly relevant experience to fastjet which will enable him to make a significant contribution to the Board and the strategic direction of the business. On behalf of the entire Board, I would like to thank Clive Carver for providing invaluable guidance and support to the Company while acting as Interim Chairman."

Colin Child said: "I am delighted to be joining the fastjet Board. The names of all companies and partnerships of which Colin Charles Child, aged 57, has been a director or partner at any time in the previous five years are set out below:

*Each of these companies was dissolved in June 2015 following members' voluntary liquidation as part of the restructuring of certain operations of De La Rue plc. There were no unsatisfied creditors.

There are no other matters which are required to be announced pursuant to paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 to the AIM Rules.
