HENRY BOOT WORLD CUP 2018 A HUGE SUCCESS!

The Henry Boot World Cup took place on the 26th July, to raise funds for chosen charity of the year, Dementia UK.

The event was held at Goals in Sheffield and featured 17 teams, including subsidiaries from the Henry Boot Group as well as many external companies.

The tournament was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone involved, with healthy competition and friendly banter (with a touch of showboating) setting the tone for the day!

The trophy was taken home by Henry Boot Construction, who triumphed over BHP Chartered Accountants in the final, whilst Henry Boot PLC were defeated in the Wooden Spoon final by Hallam Land Management.

Overall, the day was a huge success, with the event raising £5,365.80 for Dementia UK, a massive amount that everyone involved should be immensely proud of!

There has already been discussion to make this event an annual occurrence, but until then make sure you keep an eye out for further charity activity in 2018, there are plenty of events in the pipeline!
