With the constant need for faster and more reliable connectivity, operators looking to combat network challenges will benefit from the offering from HUBER+SUHNER for manageable and cost-effective data centers as it showcases its fiber optics portfolio at Cisco Live 2018, in Orlando, Florida.

With fiber-rich environments demanding maximum density in a limited footprint, quick installations as well as moves, adds and changes (MAC) and the ability to handle future growth, the LISA fiber management solution is the perfect choice for operators of all types of networks.

The densest fiber management solution in the market place today, the LISA side access fiber management system is commonly used as a centralized cross connect point in the data center. By using a centralized cross connect approach, fiber management is easier to support and route throughout the facility, and MAC is done at the centralized point, instead of throughout the building. This approach also leads to a more secure environment since all the connections are in one location, there are fewer reasons to interact with the active equipment in the facility.

The LISA solution is also the most flexible solution on the market today. The cabinet can be installed in a variety of positions - against a wall, as an end cap of a row or back to back (doubling the density) in a row.

'The LISA fiber trays are a series of unique and versatile compact modules that can support pigtail, direct cable splicing or for the integration of pre-connectorised passive components,' said Tony Walker, Business Development Manager at HUBER+SUHNER. 'Our LISA solution is one-of-a-kind and critical for making high-density a reality and managing the increasingly complex world of connectivity in a simplified, efficient way.'

Also on display is the IANOS® system, a state-of-the-art fiber optic management system which facilitates fast, flexible and future-proofed connectivity in the data center. As data centers evolve, we see a broad mixture of applications and data rates depending on the location, the business model and of course the data demand. IANOS® accommodates these changes by offering the widest range of connectivity scenarios in a single generic platform.

Another addition to HUBER+SUHNER's optical portfolio being presented to the Cisco community is the pre-term copper solution, Kypros. Easy to install and a cost-effective alternative to individual field-terminated component-based cabling, the Kypros offers proven and reliable performance characteristics which exceed all of the relevant cabling standards found on the international market.

'HUBER+SUHNER manufactures copper and fiber connectivity as well as fiber management systems, and these solutions were created to solve real world network connectivity issues,' Walker added. 'As the premier technology exhibition for all things Cisco, Cisco Live is the perfect space for us to show our future-proof and smart solutions. It is also complementary to our data center and LAN market.'

Exhibitors and attendees can visit the HUBER+SUHNER portfolio at booth 1933 at Cisco Live at the Orange County Convention Center and the Hyatt Regency, in Orlando, Florida.
