DELAY IN DESPATCH OF CIRCULAR

Reference is made to the announcement of KuangChi Science Limited (the "Company") dated 13 July 2020 in relation to, among others, the Revised Annual Caps (the "Announcement"). Capitalised terms used herein shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Announcement unless the context requires otherwise.

This announcement is made pursuant to Rule 14A.47 of the Listing Rules.

As disclosed in the Announcement, a circular (the "Circular") containing, among other things, (i) details of the Master Procurement Agreement and the Revised Annual Caps; (ii) the recommendation of the Independent Board Committee in respect of the Revised Annual Caps;

1. a letter from the Independent Financial Adviser to the Independent Board Committee and the Independent Shareholders containing its advice on the Revised Annual Caps; (iv) a notice of the SGM; and (v) other information required under the Listing Rules, is expected to be despatched to the Shareholders on or before 13 August 2020.

As additional time is required for the Company to finalise certain information in the Circular, it is expected that the Circular will be despatched to the Shareholders on or before 31 August 2020.
