· MGM Resorts Chairman and CEO Jim Murren just returned from a visit to Empire City Casino and Raceway in Yonkers, New York.<_o3a_p>
<_o3a_p>
· Empire City and its team members officially became part of the MGM Resorts family back in January. The 97-acre property is about a 30-minute drive from Manhattan.<_o3a_p>
<_o3a_p>
· Empire City features casino gaming with more than 5,200 slots and electronic table games, live and simulcast horse racing, along with dining and entertainment options.<_o3a_p>

· As part his visit, Murren spoke at the Business Council of Westchester's annual dinner and touched on what it means for MGM Resorts to now be a part of the Westchester County community.#<_o3a_p>

G2E WEEK: MGM SHINES AS <_o3a_p>
SPORTS BETTING LEADER<_o3a_p><_o3a_p>
·It's a big week for the gaming industry: G2E - otherwise known as the Global Gaming Expo, takes over the Las Vegas Strip.<_o3a_p>

· The MGM Resorts team will be out in full force all the week, participating in a variety of exhibits, demonstrations, and panel discussions - with MGM's role as a leader in sports betting playing a prominent role.<_o3a_p>

· The Global Gaming Awards will also be held during G2E.<_o3a_p>

· MGM is nominated in four categories: Land Based Operator of the Year, Customer Loyalty Program of the Year for M Life Rewards, Responsible Business of the Year - specifically for responsible gaming - and MGM Resorts Chairman and CEO Jim Murren is up for American Executive of the Year.<_o3a_p>

· G2E is organized by the American Gaming Association and is considered the premier show for the gaming-entertainment industry.#<_o3a_p>

BELLAGIO SECURITY TEAM MEMBERS EARN<_o3a_p>
COMMUNITY HERO AWARDS<_o3a_p>
· Several members of the Bellagio security team were recently honored with Community Hero Awards by American Medical Response, the nation's leading medical transportation company.<_o3a_p>
<_o3a_p>
· The recognition came for their efforts in helping a hotel guest who was suffering from a cardiac arrest in July.<_o3a_p>
<_o3a_p>
· The Bellagio security staff jumped into action and performed CPR until medics were able arrive. Their quick response and dedication helped save the guest's life.#<_o3a_p>

· Ray Brown VP Security, Bellagio:"I'm extremely proud of all the men and women that I have working here at Bellagio, every single one of them, but this group, they exemplified themselves that day and that night in just a crazy way."<_o3a_p>

MGM RESORTS SUPPORTING NBA JAPAN GAMES<_o3a_p>
<_o3a_p>
· MGM Resorts spent the last few days as an Official Partner of the NBA Japan Games, which saw the Toronto Raptors and Houston Rockets go head-to-head in a pair of pre-season games in Saitama, Japan.<_o3a_p>
<_o3a_p>
· As part of the festivities, MGM teamed up with active U.S. military members and NBA legends to put together care packages for local orphanages and remote and isolated soldiers stationed in the region.<_o3a_p>
<_o3a_p>
· MGM is exploring the possibility of bringing a unique and world-class, integrated resort to Japan, and has a full-time staff working with Japan's business and cultural communities in Osaka and Tokyo.#<_o3a_p>

MGM Resorts International is one of the world's leading casino operators. At the end of 2021, the group operates 19 casino hotels in the United States (17; Bellagio, MGM Grand Las Vegas, Mandalay Bay, The Mirage, Luxor, Excalibur, New York-New York, Monte Carlo, Circus Circus Las Vegas, Aria, etc.) and in China (2; MGM Macau and MGM Cotai). Additionally, the group owns 50% of CityCenter and 50% of Greater Victoria. Net sales break down by activity as follows:
- casinos operation (55.4%): 29,382 slot machines and 1,936 gaming tables operated at the end of 2021;
- hotel operation (17.5%): operation of 45,157 hotel rooms (including 31,098 hotel rooms in the United States);
- catering (14.4%);
- operation of leisure sites and stores (10.4%);
- other (2.3%).
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: the United States (87.5%) and China (12.5%).
